Due to coronavirus pandemic, offices have been working remotely. Applicants are unable to receive the transcripts due to the shutdown across the world. However, WES i.e. World Education Services that does the Educational Credential Assessment is providing the services to professionals and students.
Amidst all of it, there are certain questions that we come across related to WES. Hence, we have shortlisted some of the questions and their answers for you to clear your doubts. Without further ado let’s begin!
Are offices of WES Open?
During the COVID-19 pandemic, all the offices were working. The staff members have been working remotely to process all the documents. As the situation is normalizing, the operations have resumed fully.
How do I send transcripts to WES?
If your application is already in the process/submitted, then what you can do is contact your university and request them for electronic submission of documents to WES or university representative. Once WES will receive the documents, the evaluation process will begin.
There is no possibility of getting transcripts from my university. I have already made a payment. What should I do?
Even though it is inactive and you are unable to get the transcripts, your file WILL NOT BE DELETED. Your file will remain in the system. Once the situation is under control, you can send the transcript. There will not be any kind of payment issues. Only after receiving the documents, your payment will process.
Will WES translate my documents?
No, the WES will not translate the documents. If the documents are not in English then make sure you get it translated before sending it to WES.
I am unable to reach WES. The customer service number is not picking up the call. What to do?
In that case, we suggest you connect with them through a ‘Contact us form’ available on their website. For Canada and the USA, the forms are different. Make sure you check before submitting the information and query.
My documents have reached WES, but not processed yet? How do I know the status of it?
You can contact your delivery service and check the date of delivery. You can log in to the account and know the next status update of the application.
Whenever I try to upload the documents to WES Portal, there is an error message that pops up frequently. What should I do?
One of the reasons why you are unable to upload the document is because the format of the file is not compatible. Hence, always check while uploading. Try logging out and logging in. Then upload the documents.
As much as the process seems to be very easy, it is better to contact a consultant agency that shall help you out. As of now due to coronavirus, we suggest you take digital or telephonic counselling.
